r1150rt > Shelley Mayer, owner of the trike. Shelley rode the trike from Los Angeles to Washington, DC for the "Rolling Thunder" memorial ride for Vietnam Veterans and POW/MIA's. Shelley is a retired Lt. Colonel, USMC. I picked up the trike and rode it back to my home in Stanwood, WA. Shelley flew to WA and rode the trike home.
r1150rt > I flew out to Baltimore, where I picked up the trike from Shelley.

r1150rt > This is the house I lived in from 1970-73 in Hagerstown, Maryland. It's a beautiful Cape Cod that looks as good today as when our family lived in it.

r1150rt > This is where my first girlfriend lived. Her name was Tracy Bambrick.
r1150rt > The Maynard's house.
r1150rt > My elementary school.
r1150rt > Half the town would spend hours at the "Venice Pool". The pool, part of the Venice Motel, was open to the public. It was huge, with a deep end, high dive, kiddie pool and concession stand. Lots of great memories here. Too bad it's now closed.
r1150rt > This is where the big kids would go. If you jumped off the high dive, you were really something.
r1150rt > This section of the motel is all closed/boarded up. Hagerstown has suffered from a depressed economy, but it's still a charming town.
r1150rt > My father used to work here, at Pangborn, Inc.
r1150rt > At Pangborn Park, we would ice skate in the winter. The warming hut would always have a fire going, and you could buy hot chocolate.
